A winter tale of warmth… and something watching beneath the snow.

In the quiet city of Lundain, friends gather for a peaceful holiday trip to a mountain cabin.
Lanterns glow. Cocoa steams. Laughter fills the night.

But the mountains remember.

When an ancient bell begins to toll and children vanish into the blizzard, the group discovers they are no longer inside a simple winter story — but a legend older than the church, older than the town… older than fear itself.

Now they must face the being whispered about in folklore:

Krampus

And this year, it has chosen them.

A gentle note

This story contains tension and supernatural themes but focuses on hope, courage, and protecting one another — not shock or gore.

Illustrations & Art Process

All illustrations in The Curse of Krampus begin by hand. Most pieces are traditionally drawn in pencil and painted with watercolor. Some paintings are digital, in these cases, AI is used only as one step in the creative process — for exploration and texture foundations — after which we collage and extensively overpaint the artwork.

Nothing appears in the book unedited or “generated.” Every image is composed, corrected, and finished manually to match the story and its characters.

Our goal is craftsmanship: combining traditional techniques and modern tools to serve the narrative as faithfully as possible.
